The Hardcore Legend is coming to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival!

18th July 2012, 13:26pm

Every August the streets of Edinburgh are awash with something besides the obligatory Scottish summer downpours. Once a year the city streets are full of actors, singers, dancers, acrobats and comedians vying for the public's attention. Men and women from all corners of the globe and all walks of life have thrown themselves headlong into the world's greatest arts festival. Yet, through it all, one group of hard working entertainers has been suspiciously lacking in representation. The oft-maligned artists that are the professional wrestlers. Arguably the hardest working men and women in show business, travelling thousands of miles and putting their bodies on the line solely to entertain.

In 2012 the wrestlers of the world have an ambassador and what an ambassador he is. A four time world champion that's worked his way to the very pinnacle of the industry. A worldly veteran that has left his sweat, blood and even a part of his body in various continents in his efforts to put on the best show that he can. Best selling author, political activist, humanitarian, actor, husband, father and now, as if that wasn't enough, international comedy star.

Mick Foley, The Hardcore Legend, is bringing his unique and widely acclaimed brand of comedy to Edinburgh this summer. In his new show 'Prisoner Of Raw', the three time WWE champion talks about the challenge of escaping the shadow of his wrestling career and one match in particular. Mick also finds time to discuss the unique viewpoint that decades in the wrestling business has given him on topics as diverse as politics, world peace and pornography.

A natural born entertainer and a gripping story teller, Mick takes his audience on a journey that captivates fans new and old. Something for everyone, wrestling fan or otherwise. Come and join Mrs Foley's Baby Boy for the next leg of his incredible journey through the entertainment world. A ticket to Prisoner Of Raw also gains access to one of Mick's meet & greets during the day, making it a fantastic bargain as well as a superb experience.

The future WWE Hall Of Famer will be at The Assembly rooms for four nights between the 8th and 11th August. Tickets are on sale now, selling fast and can be purchased directly from The Asssembly Rooms website.

Gies a gig Mick! The Hardcore Legend comes back to Scotland in February.

13th January 2012, 20:33pm

We didn't want to promise anything too soon... We didn't want to get anyone's hopes up... We played our cards close to our chest but we never forgot about the Mick Foley fans in Scotland. Now we've managed to squeeze an extra date onto the 2012 'Nights In Red Flannel' tour and we're going back to the place where the 2011 tour started. That's right, on Thursday 23rd February Mick Foley will take his comedy back to Glasgow. The show, including a pre-show meet and greet, will take place at The Classic Grand and tickets will be going on sale Monday 16th January at 6:00pm GMT. All the details are on the tickets page.

There are only three hundred tickets available for this show and they're likely to go fast. Mick's November gig at Apollo 23 sold out in less than a day and that could fit nearly a hundred more folk in.

Official Facebook page for Mick Foley's Irish comedy dates launched.

10th January 2012, 19:34pm

On March 2nd Mick Foley takes his comedy tour to a place that's close to his heart, Dublin. In November Mick made his long overdue return to WWE in no less a city than the Irish capital. To celebrate this and to prove we're aware that Eire is not in the UK we've launched a specific Facebook comedy page for The Hardcore Legend's Irish fans. It'll have it's own competitions and prizes exclusive to residents of the Emerald Isle. Our next competition will be at the 500 like mark. Head on over, click like, spread the word and make sure you don't miss out.

Who wouldn't want to find Mick Foley under their tree?

15th December 2011, 18:02pm

Last chance for tee-shirts before Christmas!

The Funny, Bloody Funny tee shirts are currently on sale right here, ON THIS WEBSITE! *Cheap Pop* These fine, limited edition tee shirts feature all of Mick's 2011 comedy tour dates and venues on the back as well as his beautiful face on the front. There were less than a hundred and fifty of these made and once they're gone, they're gone.

If you want to be in with a chance of getting these in time for Chistmas then we need to have your order by the end of this coming weekend, Sunday 18th December . As an added bonus we'll also throw in a free tour program with every order we receive. The tee shirts, available in various sizes, can be found right here for £20 apiece + P&P.

Please note that we cannot 100% guarantee deliveries for Christmas, this is based on the Royal Mail guidelines. All items will be sent by first class post.

It's not a farewell tour, it's an au revoir tour.

15th December 2011, 17:04pm

As you may have read on Mick's blog his return to WWE has lead to him having to significantly cut back the number of comedy shows. His new commitments in 2012 and beyond mean that the 2012 Nights In Red Flannel tour will be his last comedy trip to our shores for the foreseeable future, possibly forever. This means that these could well be the last chance to enjoy Mick's live show and Q&A. The November tour was an amazing experience, unlike anything else you're likely to see. You can't beat the feeling of being amongst hundreds of passionate wrestling fans enjoying a night of laughter that feels like it was written with you in mind. The tickets also include a meet & greet at no extra cost giving you a chance to get an autograph and a photo with the man himself. Tickets would certainly make a superb Xmas present... (Even if we do say so ourselves.)

Apologies to those that feel left out by the February and March dates, particularly the fans in Scotland. There were plans for further tour dates in 2012 but, unfortunately, these have had to be shelved. We will look into ways to include as many people as possible on this tour in the new year. Please keep an eye on the Facebook page and Twitter feed for the latest news.

All 2012 tickets, all 2012 venues... On sale right now!

8th December 2011, 11:38am

Tickets for every last date of Mick Foley's 2012 'Nights In Red Flannel' UK & Ireland comedy tour are now on sale. Make sure you don't miss out on his shows in London, Cardiff, Birmingham, Sheffield, Liverpool, Dublin & Belfast by visitig the Tickets tab right here on the official tour website.

Tee Shirts... Get your Tee Shirts. (While stocks last.)

1st December 2011, 0:25am

If you came to the November stand up tour then you'll know that an unnamed parcel company gave us the run around. As a result we didn't have any of the fantastic 'Funny, Bloody Funny' tour tee shirts on sale in Glasgow and only one box of them for the rest of the dates. We're now pleased to announce that the rest have made their way to these fair shores and we can now offer them for sale here.

This fine shirt, as modelled by Mr Michael Foley both on stage and in the ring during his UK WWE appearances, features an eye catching design on the front featuring The Hardcore Legend. The back of the shirt features the dates and venues from his Nights In Red Flannel 2011 tour. Strictly limited edition, we won't be making any more of these with the 2011 dates. Once they're gone, they're gone.

Priced the same as they were on the tour, £20 each, with P&P at cost from £2.70 for a single shirt. Would it be tacky to suggest that these would make a perfect Christmas present? No, of course it wouldn't...

Had a nice day... Lots of them.

16th November 2011, 19:32pm

The curtain has fallen on Mick Foley's debut UK comedy tour and what a tour it was. Six shows over five nights across the length of the country playing to packed houses every night. Thank you to everybody in the audience and behind the scenes that helped to make it such an incredible success.

Due to the overwhelming success of this tour we're happy to be able to announce Mick's return for the 2012 leg of the 'Nights In Red Flannel' comedy tour. The Hardcore Legend will play eight nights in the UK and Ireland in February and March. Here's the schedule:

Friday February 24th: Leicester Square Theatre, London
Saturday February 25th: Leicester Square Theatre, London
Monday February 27th: The Glee Club, Cardiff
Tuesday February 28th: The Glee Club, Birmingham
Wednesday February 29th: Memorial Hall, Sheffield
Thursday March 1st: The Olympia, Liverpool
Friday March 2nd: Venue TBA, Dublin
Saturday March 3rd: The Empire, Belfast

Tickets will be on sale in the coming weeks. Check back here or follow @realMickFoley and @FoleyStandUpUK on Twitter for the latest news.

Scottish fans, don't be dismayed. We have specific plans to come and see you in the spring. Watch this space...

Mick at the Dancehouse Theatre, Manchester

Newcastle takes the show to another level on 11/11/11.

3rd November 2011, 23:30pm

The delightfully sequential show at Newcastle's Journal Tyne Theatre is going to go to a whole new level. Literally. Due to demand the theatre has opened the upper circle balcony as well as the stalls and grand circle. This means that another hundred and seventy seats are now available. Demand is likely to go through the roof this week, especially after Mick's appearance at the WWE live event in Newcastle on Tuesday 8th. If you want the best possible seats then the time to act is right now via Ticketmaster. There are still some seats left in the stalls and grand circle but these will go quickly. Remember that this also includes the post show meet and greet where you can get one item autographed for free as well as any merchandise you buy on the night.

Finally The Sock has come back... To the WWE!

3rd November 2011, 14:40pm

Last night a packed house in Dublin, Ireland saw Mick Foley step inside a WWE ring for the first time since 2008. After making a surprise appearance Mick found himself in a confrontation with The Miz and R-Truth. As a result he landed himself the role of special guest referee for a tag match between Awesome Truth and the team of John Cena and John Morrison. (John squared?) Mick also made his presence felt after the main event where the power of Mr Socko helped thwart an assault on CM Punk by Alberto Del Rio, Ricardo Rodriguez, Truth and Miz.

Mick will be making appearances at several of the shows during WWE's UK tour this coming week. On Saturday 5th November Mick will be in Manchester for the Raw live event. On Monday 7th he'll make his presence felt at the Smackdown show in Birmingham and on Tuesday 8th he'll be in Newcastle for the Raw event. Mick tweeted the following after his appearance in Dublin. "There's no place like home!".

Welcome back, the place just wasn't the same without you.

There's no place like home
